Hops Flower Extract
Our hops flower extract is made in-house using verified gluten free, non-gmo, USDA certified organic dried hops flowers (HUMULUS LUPULUS) and vegetable glycerin (GLYCERIN). We preserve our extracts with Leucidal Complete (LEUCONOSTOC/RADISH ROOT FERMENT FILTRATE & LACTOBACILLUS & COCOS NUCIFERA FRUIT EXTRACT), an Ecocert/Cosmos approved and Whole Foods Compliant broad-spectrum natural preservative.
What is hops flower?
Hops is most commonly known for giving beer it’s bitter taste. So what’s it doing in hair products?
Have you ever heard the folk remedy of rinsing your hair with beer for more volume? Hops helps to increase your hair’s body, shine, and elasticity. The great thing about our all natural glycerin based hops extract is that, unlike beer, it’s alcohol free to prevent drying out your locks in the process!
Hops also helps to reduce hair fall and dandruff. It can help to decrease skin inflammation, which is great news if you’ve got a sensitive or picky scalp. The astringent properties of hops help to gently exfoliate the scalp, leaving your follicles clear and healthy and encouraging stronger hair growth.
